First, the price goes up by a significant margin is drastic, and I can't tell if this was a Paradox call or a Renegade call. Second, the book basically lost all Bookmarks with the new PDF version, making it significantly harder to find stuff while adding little to the book outside of the errata. Overall, don't buy until significant sale, if at all, as a V5 fan these problems are really problematic.

I just decided to look at V5's discussion and review board and it's such a mess. This book came out almost 3 years now, and it's just sad to see it still in a heated edition war. I get why the "V20 vs. V5" is a thing, there both extremely different in tone, focus, and mechanics. V20 is more focused on metaplots and making kindred more powerful and in control. I haven't played the game since the old days of 2nd edition so my lore is definitely lacking but I noticed there is little mention of the other lines from this period, Werewolf, Mage, Changeling etc. There didn't seem to be much mention in this book either. Are there equivalent rulebooks for these lines I'm most interested in Werewolf? Possibly they were all wiped out in the various apocalypses, as I said my lore is largely outdated? There is a sense of vampire organizations losing their grip in V5, along with an ominous sense of doom, but the actual end outcome is not clear.

There was an example of this in the Skinhead pregen used in the 1st edition of the Brujah Clan book. This is what the original Vampire: The Masquerade should have been all those years ago. This is a beautifully presented, clearly organised, professionally edited, detailed and helpful piece of work. The artwork is also high quality and evocative. Somet [ Edward C. i purchased the Deluxe edition so i'll talk about the physical copy primarily. Makes generating characters for vtm 5e a breeze! By far the best character sheet manager for it I've found. Some aspects could be improved upon like taking damage or spending willpower without opening the editing mode. Over all, the closest thing to dnd beyond for Masquerade, which is exactly what I needed to help ease my gaming group into the new system. An amazing app that makes me arduous task of character sheet maintenance and storage I think of the past truly innovative system which is easy to function with and easy to keep track of so even if you make a mistake or have to backtrack everything is so simple and laid out it's easy to get back into the swing of things and it makes character creation fun.
This is a really good app. It has a solid framework and guidance system. I look forward to the continued developments, especially Exp spending. I only have two minor critiques, but I don't know how easy or lengthy these alterations would be. It would be nice if there was a way to see a list of advantages, flaws, and loresheets, and it's a little clunky having to erase selections and entries if you want to make changes to earlier sections in the guided creation.
